The below-stated provisions are included to inform about the data that we collect when using the website, how we use, modify and delete them, as well as define rules for storage and access to information on your device (computer, laptop, smartphone, etc.) with the use of Cookies, for rendering electronic services required by the User, Termoprofil, ul. Górnicza 17E, 44-300 Wodzisław Śląski, which constitutes implementation of the information obligation under Art.173, Art. 174 and Art. 209 of the Telecommunications law (Journal of Laws of December 21st, 2012, item. 1445).

I. Information about the data controller

  1. This Privacy and Cookies Policy specifies and defines data that are collected from the User of www.termoprofil.eu website, hereinafter referred to as the Website, owned by Termoprofil, ul. Górnicza 17E, 44-300 Wodzisław Śląski.
  2. The data controller is Termoprofil, ul. Górnicza 17E, 44-300 Wodzisław Śląski hereinafter referred to as the Controller or the Company.

II. Information on the range of data collected by the Controller, the scope of their use and the User's rights

  1. When the User visits the Website our servers automatically record so called system logs - anonymous information, such as: time of the User's visit, IP address, URL address, information about the User's browser, URL address of previously visited website (so called referent link, if the User moved to the website via the link), etc. The collected logs are stored for an indefinite period of time as auxiliary material used to administer the website. The information contained therein shall not be disclosed to anyone other than those authorized to administer the server and the website.
  2. The website also collects anonymous data about websites visited, such as the number of visits, country, browser, time of the visit, etc. We analyse the data collected using an external solution provider, which is Google Analytics.   3. The website uses the Google AdWords advertising program features such as re-marketing, categories of interest, similar recipients, other types of interest-based advertising, demographic targeting and location.
  4. The website may use the "Share" function which allows to send information about our websites to social networks (such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.) or to the e-mail address. It operates based on the "Add This" service. When contacting via the contact form, if the User subscribes to our newsletter or other system messages, it may provide the following information: telephone, e-mail, address, first name and surname, etc. and other personal information, i.e. date of birth, age, sex, etc. These data might be used by the Controller for statistical purposes, behavioural research, as well as "if the User has given his consent" - for commercial purposes of the Company.

In addition, occasionally, by surveys sent via e-mail or shared directly on the website, the Website may collect demographic and profile information from the Users (such as education, age, earnings). These data are used to research the Users' preferences and customize the Company's offer to their expectations. All advertising content associated with commercial activities of the Company and its partners can be transmitted to the Users only with their consent, in accordance with the content of Art. 10 of the Act of July 18th, 2002, on rendering electronic services (Journal of Laws No. 144, item 1204, as amended). The consent it this respect is revocable.

The User providing his or her data on the Website, referred to in Items 5 and 6, hereby gives consent to their transferring, storage and processing (in accordance with the Data Protection Act of August 29th, 1997) by the Website. Providing his or her data, the User acknowledges also that he or she is aware of the "Privacy and cookies policy" of this Website.
  9. Personal data shall not be disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes unless the User gives consent to the above. Providing any personal data is voluntary. The Company may provide the collected information, which cannot identify a specific person, to the public and partners, such as publishers, advertisers and entities servicing the related websites.
  10. In the event of a merger or take-over of the Company, or sale of its assets, we ensure the confidentiality of any personal data and notify appropriate users before their personal data are transferred or subject to a different privacy policy.

  14. The Controller reserves the right to refuse to remove the User's data if keeping them is necessary in order to implement claims, or if required by applicable law.
  15. In case of the control by the Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data, the User's data can be made available to employees of the Inspector in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

III. The use of cookies and similar technologies, and the possibility to disable them.

  1. The Website uses cookies. They identify the browser and improve the operation of the website. Cookies do not contain any personal data. The Website may also use an anonymous identifier which is a random string of characters used for the same purpose as a cookie on platforms covering some mobile devices, on which the cookie technology is not supported.

To remove previously saved cookies: select options: "Tools", then "Internet options" and the "Browsing history", click "Delete". Then select: "Save data of your favourite Websites" option and "Cookies" and click "Remove".
  • Mozilla Firefox : to block cookies, select "Tools", then "Options" and the "Privacy" tab. Choose the "Firefox will use user settings" option there and uncheck the "Accept cookies" option. Confirm by "OK". To remove the saved cookies: select "Tools" and "Clear browsing history". Select the time range to clear: "All" and select "Cookies". Confirm by pressing "OK".
  • Opera browser: to block cookies Select the "Settings" option and then "Preferences, then "Advanced" and "Cookies". Select "Never accept cookies" among the available options and click "OK" button. To remove the already collected cookies – in the menu, choose the "Settings" option, then "Preferences", and "Advanced" and "Cookies". f) What are the Anonymous Identifiers and what is their function?
